Mindful Birding and Bird Language Series

Led by Audubon California and Weaving Earth

Location: Virtual/Online

Audubon California and Weaving Earth present a 4 week experiential webinar on Mindful Birding.

This 4-week program will focus on practicing mindful bird sits. It will help you to slow down, relax your nervous system, and tune into the birds.

We will also learn how to pay attention to bird vocalizations and behaviors to understand what they are communicating about in your neighborhood.

Research shows that spending 20 minutes outdoors can boost our health and calm our minds. As you practice, you may begin to notice:

* Do you feel the ease and peace in your body when the birds are singing?

* Do you feel calm and rejuvenated after a bird sit?

* Can you walk down the street without making the birds fly away from you?

The program includes weekly educational webinars and guided mindful bird sits from March 6- 30, 2023. Webinars are on Mondays: 12:30 - 2:00 pm PST and Thursdays: 9:00 - 10:00 am PST. Note: All webinars and guided bird sits will be recorded so you can join live or watch/listen on demand.
